NOLA Property Managers, Inc. was created in January 2013 to purchase the existing contracts of Columbia Property Management, Inc. Columbia had been around since 1986 and its management portfolio included multiple condominium associations, a homeowner’s association,approximately 300 rental units.
June 2013 saw NOLA Property Managers take over the management of Columbia’s portfolio. Even though our company is “young”, our staff has a combined 28 years of experience in property management. Not to mention many more years of superior service skills honed from previous positions within the hotel business. Owing to our belief in strong customer service, Columbia’s 1st client and 1st association are still with NOLA today.
NOLA currently offers its management services throughout New Orleans and surrounding areas, including the metro New Orleans area, Jefferson Parish and Orleans Parish.

Kenneth L. (Kel) Kopecky, CMCA AMS
Kel is a licensed real estate broker, a Realtor, a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and an Association Management Specialist (AMS). Kel joined Columbia in 2003. He first started as a manager of one condominium complex and one multi-unit apartment complex. He grew to become Vice President of Columbia and managed multiple associations and his rental portfolio included multi-family, single homes and condominium units. Kel and his wife started NOLA Property Managers when they purchased the contracts from Columbia.
In 2009, Kel joined the Community Associations Institute (CAI). One of only a handful of people in the area that are members. CAI is instrumetal in assisting its members with developing their managed community associations. Kel is one of only 2 Association Management Specialists serving the New Orleans area.

Lynne R. Michelli
Lynne joined Columbia in 1998. Before joining Columbia, she was Director of Sales and Marketing for a boutique hotel in the French Quarter from 1980-1998. There she developed superior customer service skills. Today, she is still a Vice President with NOLA and her skills from the hotel continue to help us maintain a high level of service for all our clients and residents.
Aside from managing the office, Lynne’s duties include managing maintenance requests, handling the distribution of monthly client reports, correspondence to our clients and assisting Kel in managing a couple associations.

Eddy has been with Columbia for many years. He first started as a general maintenance man for a handful of properties. Since then, he has grown to be a jack of all trades, working at virtually any property. He can handle light construction, light electrical work, some appliance repair, flooring, janitorial and landscaping. He also works closely with the main housing authorities in the area; HANO, Jefferson Parish and Kenner.
Eddy is a tremendous asset to NOLA due to his ability to help out at any time of the day, any day of the week.
